House of Bwindi is a Social Enterprise dedicated to empowering local women in the area and creating a more meaningful and dignified livelihood.
Our foundation is committed to empowering Ugandan women to build their own sustainable businesses and are training them with sewing and tailoring skills so that in the coffee off-season, they can still create revenue.
Our community training center in Kisoro will have space for tailoring and creating crafts, which can then be sold in the coffee shop - creating a year-round revenue stream. Women that have better livelihoods build stronger and more resilient communities.
You can help empower Ugandan women by supporting this initiative directly. Funds raised go towards equipment, fabrics, and training skills in tailoring.
